Below are some videos of Chris Tomlin (our music leader for the week) playing live. Chris is a prolific songwriter, and many of the songs sung around the world are ones he wrote. I have posted several here that you may recognize.

Here is his official website.

You can check him out as well at his Myspace page.

Or read more from the user written encyclopedia “Wikipedia“.

This is a neat site, although you will be required to create a username and password. But it is free and worth the time if you interested in music. You can find alot of resoures for musicians including chord charts and gear and effects videos from Daniel (the electric guitar player). You guitar players would probably like seeing him talk about his pedals, amps, picks and guitars.

If you are a guitar player or songwriter, I know there are several you, you should really take some time and watch the videos where he is teaching the songs. The chords he uses alot here are common chords in most styles of music and can add alot to whatever you are already doing on the guitar.

Enjoy and feel free to worship even now.

This first song is called “Enough”. This is one he co-wrote with Louie Giglio (our speaker for the week). The two of them stick together a fair amount.

Here is another video of Chris telling us about his song “How great is our God”

Chris and his song “Made to worship”

Here are a few with his band…

“Holy is the Lord” by Chris Tomlin…

“Forever” by Chris Tomlin…

One of my favorites, “How can I keep from singing”…

Here is the same song, but with some background as to how it was written. Done on the acoustic guitar.

Here is another with the band, called “Your grace is enough”
